ACYD Cocktail Hour
It's that time again. Time to join the Alachua County Young Democrats for our month cocktail hour. This is a low key social event for Young Democrats and supporters. There's no cover, and Alcove is giving our group $1 off drafts while we're there. We haven't lined up guest speaker yet, but rest assured, we will.

13th Annual Lawton Chiles Gala
On Sunday, October 2nd at the UF Hilton Conference Center (1714 SW 34th St.) the Alachua County Democratic Party is having its annual fundraising gala. Tickets are $70 per person, $35 for student. The cocktail hour starts at 5:30pm and the dinner starts at 7:00pm. This event is always a lot of fun. Attire is semi-formal.

FDP Conference
Every two years, the Florida Democratic Party host is state conference in Orlando. This year it's at the Disney Contemporary Resort from Friday, October 28 to Sunday, October 30. This is great event to rub elbows with Democrats from around the state the and around the country. Special guests include: Vice-President Joe Biden, DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, Senator Bill Nelson, and many more.
